Problemas mudando o tamanho da partição

Description of problem:

When the NTFS shrink procedure fails, it does so without informing the user of the reason and steps to correct, information which is available from the backend.


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):


How reproducible: Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Have an "unclean" NTFS partition (reset Windows or whatever).
  2. Insert Fedora 11 Preview DVD, go through initial steps for new install.
  3. Choose "shrink existing filesystem".
  4. Select the NTFS partition and gave new size (i.e. from 76G to 45G).
  5. No changes to suggested Linux partitions, continue, popup informs of resizing operation

Actual results: Popup says "there was an error encountered resizing device". The Details link clarifies that with: "resize failed: 1".

Expected results: Some information about what can be done to correct this problem.

Additional info: CTRL-ALT-F5 shows the output from the backend:

allocation table inconsistency boot Windows and run chkdsk /f then reboot twice.
